Here is the huge platter GALLAXY featured on my last posting. It is an outdoor piece, sitting on the deck.
Beads are one way I use up scrap clay and I aspire to make a perfect gem.
Flower Themes are a constant endeavor.
I continue to make fish, also out of leftover clay and have a growing collection. This one is called Fish in a costume.

This is a large freeform bowl/platter that was made in a slump mold. This slump mold was a round hole cut in a piece of plywood. I set a large enough piece of 1/4 inch clay over it and let it sink in. When it was firm I etched on a design and used tiny brushes to enter glaze. It was fired twice, Cone 3 and Cone 06.
